To date, none of the in vitro tests for the diagnosis of ACD fulfils the requirements of an easy, valid and reliable test. The combination of clinical history and patch testing still remains the basis for diagnosing ACD. Since its inauguration in by Jadassohn [ 1 ], the patch test PT is believed to be the "gold standard" in the diagnosis of allergic contact dermatitis ACD. However, the method of patch testing has repeatedly been questioned [ 2 - 6 ] for its limited validity and reproducibility and it is therefore by no means uniformly accepted as a reliable test method. As a variant of patch testing, tape stripping the skin prior to patch testing was first mentioned in by Spier and Natzel [ 7 ]. Since then, the strip patch test SPT is used in some places to obtain more valid and reliable test results [ 8 - 13 ].

The electromechanical coupling factor of such crystals for all main vibration modes such as the thickness extension and transverse extension modes is more than 0. Operation of ultrasonic transducers with such piezoelectric elements in transmitting and receiving modes is rather different. Therefore, for transmission and reception of ultrasonic signals, separate piezoelectric elements with different dimensions must be used. It is equivalent to introduction of electromechanical damping which does not require any additional backing element. For this purpose; we have proposed the continuous electrodes to divide into two pairs of electrodes. The one pair is used to pick up the electric signal; another one is exploited for electromechanical damping. The frequency bandwidth is wider up to 9 kHz in the case of non-rectangular electrodes.

Design Strips are used to create regions within a slab where design cuts will automatically be created and flexural reinforcing bars will designed. If the moment varies along the length of a Design Strip then the individual design cuts will show a varying amount of moment demand at each section. The results for the entire Design Strip will be governed by the maximum moment demand at an individual design cut. The same number and size of reinforcing bars will be used for the entire Design Strip, so this should be considered when defining the boundary for a particular strip. The moment demand at an individual design cut is defined as the total moment over the width of the design cut.
