Fitness Ranch - Rancho Cortez
Nice and warm place for a get together with friends or family. I liked that they had lunch specials, menu is pretty big has a good variety too pick from The only thing, if you come with family or friends you have too come in together, they do have a sign that says they will not seat uncompleted parties. So try too get there together. Other than that I liked the place, I ordered the meatloaf with loaded mashed potatoes and gravy, my friend had the fried steak with green beans and corn. Definitely coming back for lunch or even dinner!! I don't think this place has an open flame grill, As other reviewers have posted.

You can learn a lot about a family from its peach pie. Cornflakes are an old-school way to add crunch to all kinds of casseroles and desserts, and if you bake a pie like this for a summer get-together, such as the Fourth of July, the cornflakes add a sentimental touch that will appeal to different generations and might inspire conversation among guests. Feel free to mix up the fruit combination; peaches and raspberries work well together, but you could use only peaches or peaches and another pie-friendly fruit, such as blackberries or cherries. The slices will be thin enough to go under the radar. Bennett does not blind-bake the pie shell before filling, but you could pre-bake the dough for minutes if you want to ensure a golden crust on the bottom of the pie.
Chef Sonya Cote was facing the loss of her restaurant, too. Cote, who has worked with local farmers her entire food career, has for the past five years operated her Eden East eatery on the grounds of Springdale Farm, a 5-acre property that started as a landscaping company more than two decades ago and became an urban farm in Cote, who also operates Hillside Farmacy , had grown close with the Foores over those years, and when they decided to retire , Cote and her partner, David Barrow, started talking with them about taking over day-to-day operations.
